As an ambitious B2G sales for Digital Government Solutions, you co-drive the next growth sprint of Skryv. This starts with finding opportunities for improving digital government services, selling “Think & Try” workshop series and converting these to full clients of our platform. In a second phase, being in the driver’s seat of all commercial activities of Skryv.

The Skryv platform is a low coding tool consisting of different fixed modules that can be configured and customised in order to automate the client’s processes or digitalize services. From request to happy citizen is our motto!

Skryv, Digital Gov entrepreneurs

Our mission is to simplify the (digital) interaction with and within the government. We are the fastest way to digitise government services. We offer low code software modules. Both for government agencies that provide services and companies that use digital government services.

A day at Skryv

We do not like you to get stuck in traffic jams, so your workday will often start from home, travelling to client offices when there are meetings to our Brussel’s office (near Central Station) or to our weekly get-together. You have the following responsibilities, organising the work independently when possible, in collaboration with the co-founders’ coaching where applicable:

  • You identify and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the Local, Regional of Federal Government agencies
  • You develop a business development strategy, create partnership alliances and hunt for opportunities and leads
  • You prepare and run sales meetings
  • You close selected deals up to 6 digits, including price negotiations
  • You co-author commercial documents (mails / proposals / …) and organise & document the sales pipeline in our CRM tool
  • You go networking at events and conferences where we have a booth
  • You are the sparring partner for new campaigns and marketing actions

You as a Skryver

We want you to fit in with the team, so you should recognise yourself in the following list. Do not worry if you cannot tick all of the boxes, we are not perfect either.

  • You have a commercial experience and affinity with IT / Digital Transformation
  • You love reaching out to new contacts through phone/mail to fix meetings
  • You are a very good listener, so you truly understand the customers’ needs.
  • You sell with integrity and put the customer experience first through consultative selling
  • You are a strong networker and relationship builder
  • You are a self-starter, persistent & patient (government sales cycles are rather long)
  • You speak and write fluent English, Dutch and French
  • You have a flexible attitude whenever the job requires it (which works both ways, as you can read below)
  • Nice to have: you have knowledge of the public market and its sales processes, or you can build on a network
